Overview MCA CENTAC Pondicherry

Centralized Admission Committee – CENTAC, Pondicherry conducts Common Entrance Test – CET for admission into first year of MCA program offered by Government sponsored colleges in the UT of Pondicherry. The duration of program is three years. Admission is made on the basis of rank in the Common Entrance Test – CET.

• Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Science with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject.
OR

Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or Corporate Secretary-ship with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Applications as one of the subjects.

Percentage of Marks:

A candidate should have at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

• Nationality:

A Candidate seeking admission through CENTAC CET should be an Indian National. However, French Nationals residing in the UT of Pondicherry and covered by the terms of the Treaty of Cession shall be treated on par with Indian Nationals for the purpose of admission.
